Here is a special Greek wine, named August's Rose, another bright, lively face of Malagousia (%95) with a hint of Merlot (%5) from the Greek mainland, a delightful masterpiece of Lepenioti Winery.

During our trip to Piraeus, we had a delightful stop at a place called Giakrasaki. With his extensive knowledge of Greek wines, diverse tasting options, and hospitality, dear Yannis added an unforgettable memory and flavor to our special Piraeus visit: August's Rose.

As soon as it's poured into the glass, a lilac-like elegant scent rises, starting a pleasant dance that intensifies in the glass. After a clear gaze of salmon color, I discover discovery flavours of raspberry and cherry harmonized with honey on the palate.

Balanced with lively acidity and moderate sweetness, this creation, intensifying on the mid-palate, is like the chorus of a song, but which one? (at the end of the text).

As this wine imbued with the spirit of music because the Elikona mountains are the abode of the Muses, the goddesses of arts and sciences in mythology. That's why there is a melody in the lifeblood of the vines!

On a warm summer day, accompanied by salty sea breezes caressing your face, the sparkle of the evening sun brings to life a conversation with soft voices accompanied by August's Rose. Its companion is equally striking and surprising! I paired this beautiful rose with a strawberry-shaped, mascarpone cheese-filled, strawberry jam-covered, three-day-made dessert, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside umami waterfall of a treat.
